Job description

The operations manager is responsible for playing a pivotal role in the development of fashion lines and efficient execution of projects alongside account managers, with the primary function of running an account smoothly through processes in design & production. An operations manager must show leadership and driven thinking of innovative solutions to business/ strategic problems and must be skilled in human resources, finance and IT management.

Roles and responsibilities

  • Maintain constant communication with management, staff, and vendors to ensure proper operations of the organization
  • Develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance protocols
  • Grow the efficiency of existing organizational processes and procedures to enhance and sustain the
  • organization’s internal capacity
  • Actively pursue strategic and operational objectives
  • Ensure operational activities remain on time and within a defined budget
  • Track staffing requirements, hiring new employees as needed
  • Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable departments
  • Manage timely data collection to update operations metrics to achieve productivity targets, reduce cost
  • per unit, eliminate errors, and deliver excellent customer service
  • Partner with cross-functional support teams in improving the proprietary tools and systems
  • Oversee materials and inventory management
  • Conduct budget reviews and report cost plans to upper management

Requirements

  • 3 years of experience in an account management position
  • Advanced skills in Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • High level of interpersonal skills
  • Strong attention to detail and high levels of integrity and confidentiality
  • Fluent in Arabic and English: spoken and written
  • Proven organizational skills with the ability to prioritize heavy workloads and remain calm under pressure
  • Strategic approach with high levels of business acumen
  • Advance project management skills
  • Familiar with customer journey and satisfaction tactics and gauging
  • Working knowledge of management software programs, including Xero, zoho and palmhr (or any hr
  • platforms)
  • Strong IT skills, including database development
  • Multiple years of financial and account reporting
